Something missing in your life? Feeling alone, misunderstood or neglected? Here is the answer. I dare you to read it all.

Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are not good enough. You ARE a hard worker, you are smart, you are intelligent, you are capable and you are loving and beautiful. You need to know that no matter what you do or who you are with, they will never be enough. They will never satisfy you completely. They were not made to. You were designed to feel that space, that whole and emptiness inside of you even when everything is going right. No one or object will ever fill that void no matter how hard you try. The only thing that can fully satisfy is God. Now, I have only felt "fully satisfied" by God for a brief week of my life, I am no expert. The reason being, I went back to trying to fill the voids in my life up with anything and everything I could find after this week, once I was satisfied. I am still struggling to even talk to God, but I know he is there and I know he is the answer to all my problems. Know that if you feel this void in your life, you are not alone. No amount of money, free time, love, accomplishments or possessions will change that. You share something in common with every person who ever lived. The difference for you, is that you have an opportunity to change gears and get yourself right and be an example to others. I dare you to trust for one week. I dare you to read the Bible and pray, even if you don't believe. If you don't have a Bible--- pray. God is still there. Ask for help to believe. I promise that if you have a genuine heart, God will be there for you.

I dare you to move.

Getting Through

Be thankful for everything in your life. Whether that is food on the table, a place to sleep, a friend, the smile of a total stranger, or another day to be alive - be thankful. Our lives are so very short and if we spend it complaining or wishing we had more, we will waste away the years we could have spent in joy. Find joy in your trials, they are making you stronger. Find courage and confidence in fact that your life is more difficult than others, you are touch enough to get through this. Find strength in looking at your own life and the many trials you have overcome.

If you believe in God, or want to believe in something greater, then keep reading. No matter who you are or where you are, what you have or what you don't have, you are not alone! There is a God who loves you very much, who trusts you enough to endure the pains of life, who has given you the strength to carry on each day. I don't know why good things happen to bad people, this will never be understood. What I do know is that there is a God who loved you enough to make himself human and die for you. Jesus, God's son, died to forgive YOU of all the things you have done wrong. He thought of YOU in his last breath. YOU are loved by God. I have found in my times of weakness and difficulty that when I asked God to help get me through or give me strength, I found strength. I asked God to help me be thankful for my trials because I know they are making me stronger. Be thankful, because no matter how little you have, you have an opportunity to be loved unconditionally and forgiven in spite of everything you have done wrong.

Love is not a feeling, it is a decision. 

Moving On

Never intended for this to happen,
I took it worse than I expected.
How do you balance two opposing things,
Happiness and jealousy.
Waking up full or regret,
Wishing I could have handled it all with grace,
Instead of immense immaturity.
I am fed up with the status quo,

Turning Desires Into Action

On days when I wish my life was significantly different, I am 

reminded of one of my favorite quotes:

 get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if 

they can't find them, make them.”

There are NO excuses for sitting around and complaining 

about the present circumstances, no matter how bad they 

are. You are in control of your actions in response to the 

things life throws at you. If you are unhappy and desire 

change, actually DO something about it. You might just find 

the freedom you have been looking for. :) 

Healing

Eyes wide open for the very first time,
